I am a 10 handicap golfer with a swing speed over mph so I needed a stff shaft with a driver head that would last. This is a great club for me! I have been utterly unimpressed by the driver. As yet, swappable shafts are not available but may become so in the future. If the sound really bothers you, there's a weight plug in the back that you can remov e and then fill with a few ripped up cotton balls. A higher lofted club will always go straighter. Forgiving is very safe to say on this driver and distance is Holy Cow. A montser for the money!

Def more a players club. The tool also allows you to change the face from open to square.

I can litterely swing out of my shoes and hit the ball plus. This allows golfers to straighten out their trajectory or have the option to encourage a draw when required. The sound at impact is meagre, it is not a powerful awe-inspiring crash, instead a weak splutter.

Sounds a little thuddish, but does have l5b hot spot and seems forgiving on mishits. The L5 is definitely a lower spin driver and has a much flatter ball flight.

Hits long and straight. If lookquality and savings are would you are looking for there is not a matching driver out there. This raises up theMOI moment of intertia to give the golfer plenty of forigeness on mishits in particular.

I posted a few of the 'gizmo' they are using for shaft - the face angle thing is super killer. The MOI is around so it's pretty forgiving on miss-hits. The L5V is a completely different animal and plays like one as well. I have been utterly unimpressed by the driver.

NOT nearly as loud - but def not muted. Higher launch and lower spin, which translates into more distance and accuracy. A loud and ugly sound that is definitely not for me.

However, in the short grass and out of trouble is better.

The large club head gives a feeling of confidence at address, had good feel at impact and delivered a consistent, penetrating ball flight with impressive distance from all areas of the face - in fact performance on mishits was so good it seemed the L5V could cope with whatever swing we threw at it! If this review merely focussed on performance I would be telling you to go out and get one now.
